London to Paris Cycle for BPT!
About
The Black Prince Trust (BPT) is a charity which runs a Community Sports Hub in Kennington, South London. The Hub is an inclusive, inter-generational community facility and BPT work with a wide range of partners delivering year-round programmes designed to create positive social outcomes through different sports and physical activities. BPT aims to inspire healthy participation, learning and development in a safe environment through their community projects, which are predominantly free to users from the local community.
During each school holiday period, BPT delivers free sport and physical activity for young people in our local community, to ensure that kids can stay active and engaged outside of term-time. We also include the provision of free lunch every day, to support kids who are on free school meals and other young people in need. Our holiday programmes run during February and October half terms, along with the Easter and summer periods. To keep this project running, we consistently require support through funding and donations.
In order to raise money for our holiday programmes, a group of 12 volunteers are cycling from the BPT Hub in Kennington, to the Champs Elysees in Paris. The trip will take place across 4 days over the Easter weekend, covering 313 miles. Any donations no matter how large or small are massively appreciated!
